Kolomona Ku spent much of his music career touring and performing with bands across the Pacific and United States. Some of the notable acts he performed with performed with include Kolohe Kai, Katchafire, Natural Vibrations, the Opihi Pickers, and Rebel Souljahz. He has also served as the music director and worship leader for Christ Centered Community Church and Impact Fellowship.

After winning a Na Hoku Hanohano award in 2015 with his band ‘Kolohe Kai’ for Reggae Album of the Year, Ko set his heart on the release of a solo singer/songwriter project. ‘Fountain After Drought’, a full-length album of original music reflecting the value of family, friends, and relationships, was released in the fall of 2016.

Kolomona Ku has since relocated to the city of Los Angeles, where he has refocused his endeavors on music composition. In 2017, he has embarked on the new project ‘KoWrites’, a solo piano collection of Original, Disney, Christian, and Pop arrangements.

Kolomona Ku has been involved with music since the age of 4. Out of all the joys music brings, he finds the most satisfaction through the creative process–writing songs, composing, and arranging. He has a firm foundation in his faith as a Christian and strives to use music as a tool to help others experience fulfillment in their own lives. Ko will continue to release new music in the hopes of connecting people to the belief that true happiness can be found in faith, family, friends, and relationships.
